
Session 4: In-Conversation: Perspectives from Ukraine
Dr. Aisel Omarova is an Associate Professor at the Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine and Foreign Countries of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Ukraine) and Visiting Researcher in University of Warwick (UK). She currently works on historical and legal aspects of children’s rights and the history of children’s rights protection at the national and international levels. Dr. Aisel Omarova is a lecturer for English-language Bachelor Degree Course in the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. She is a Reviewer and Member of Editorial Boards of Access to Justice in Eastern Europe, Problems of Legality, Law and Society, Humanities and Social Science Research, Culture and History etc. She has conducted research and proficiency enhancements at leading research institutions and universities in Czech Republic, Poland, the United Kingdom and other European countries.
Research has a great importance in solving problems in crises. Sometimes the answer for problems’ solutions can be found in experience of one or another country. Also, critical situation demands creative solution approach of problem that mostly can be found in science.
